DOMESTIC VIOLENCE
One of our primary goals is to provide love and support for victims of addiction, trauma & domestic violence in public schools, substance abuse, mental health, criminal justice and other social services communities; walking with them as they face their fears and social challenges.
LIFESKILLS TRAINING
We recognize that a lot of women hit bumps in the road. Our goal is to help you smooth out the rough spots and get back on the right track. We do this by providing support and programs that center around conflict resolution, anger management, mentoring, etiquette and spiritual recovery.
WORKFORCE TRAINING
The path to independence often centers around employment and professional skill sets. We open the door to opportunity by providing workforce counseling that includes resume writing, interviewing techniques and job search information. We also assist participants when we can to secure employment.
PARENTING CLASSES
There are more than 100,000 households in the Washington Metropolitan Area headed by women. As we all know during these days of family breakups and social upheaval, parenting has become more difficult. We provide professionals we can assist single women to become successful parents - without a spouse.
HEALTH & WELLNESS
A healthy mind is essential to a good life. We provide information about nutrition, healthy living habits and workout regimes. And when an illness such as cancer or diabetes strikes one of our sisters, we are there to provide the support she needs to make it through. wWe also provide education and support for HIV-AIDs.
